Agape Institute for Ministry
Agape Institute for Ministry was established in 2021 and inspired by agape to equip, educate and empower students to serve in and outside of the Church. We believe that the institute is not just for clergy but for everyone.
All our online classes, workshops, Certificates, Diplomas are affordable, accessible and practical.
Agape Institute for Ministry educates clergy in our Ministry Diploma program which prepares them for the ordained ministry. Our curriculum includes: Introduction to Ministry, Ministry of Agape, Ministry to the Soul, Ministry to Aging Adults, Ministry to the Bereaved, Ministry to Youth, Ministry to the Terminally Ill. Students will be able to complete the Ministry Diploma in less than a year.
Agape Institute for Ministry offers Ministry Certificates in Grief Ministry, Youth guidance, Healing During the Holidays, Shalom Peace of Mind, Care for the Elderly/Dementia, End of Life Ministry, Spiritual Mental Health First Aide, Care for the Soul, and How to Love Difficult People, Eat Your Dessert First: Self-Care. Our online/in person workshops will train and prepare you to work in Nursing Homes, Hospitals, and Social Service agencies.
Agape Institute for Ministry offers Continuing Education Units in a variety of topics to fulfill Social Work requirements or for Pastors to enhance their skill set.

INTRODUCTION TO MINISTRY
The Introduction to Ministry shares the Essentials of the Ministry based on Matthew 25:31-46. Students will learn the "how-to" of the ministry ie. how to serve the homeless, mentally ill, bereaved, aging adults, youth and people suffering from dementia.
CARE FOR SOULS
Care for Souls will provide an overview of the seven spiritual needs of the soul and the spiritual interventions required to care for it.
CARING FOR THE BEREAVED
This class will inform you on how to provide grief counseling. Students will learn:
-the symptoms of the bereaved
-complicated grief, anticipatory grief
-grief counseling principles
-grief counseling techniques
-how to develop a grief support group
MINISTRY OF AGAPE
Students will learn about the God of Agape and our moral mandate to love the soul of our neighbor. Students will discover how to listen, learn and love the soul. A special focus will be on Jesus ministry to the marginalized
CARE FOR AGING ADULTS
Students will learn how to assess the spiritual/emotional needs of aging adults. Moreover, students will discover spiritual values that are needed to age gracefully.
CARING FOR THE DYING
This class will educate students on how to care for the terminally ill. Students will learn:
- how to do a spiritual assessment
-how to develop a spiritual care plan
-how to render spiritual interventions
WE OFFER A MINISTRY DIPLOMA
Agape Institute for Ministry offers a Ministry Diploma Degree that can be achieved online in a year. TUITION IS $200 per course and FREE for students 65 and older
